A full house was had for the 1st of the monthly American Tournaments of summer 2024 with 24 players taking part in the fun competition played on Wednesday 15th May.
The weather and atmosphere were fantastic. Participants played 5 rounds of 20 minutes each, with a different partner for each round. Points were accumulated for each game won across all the rounds with the both the ladies winner, Lucy Graham and the mens winner, Keith Bowen coincidentally scoring 22 points each. With strawberries and cream (what else!?) to round off the evening, the winners were both presented with the famous tennis racquet key ring. Congratulations to both.
